HOW DO I JOIN:
Sign-ups are announced via Social Media 2 weeks before league begins. Sign-ups must be done by phone or by person. Sign-ups can be made up until 7pm on the day the league starts.
STRUCTURE:
Each league is set up and ran according to the World Axe Throwing League’s (WATL) rules and regulations. Leagues are 8 weeks (Traditional League). Each has a regular season of playing and then 2 final weeks of playoffs. The playoffs will be a double elimination bracket tournament with 16 top players. Seed numbers will be granted based on total score throughout the season! We use WATL Smart App to create random matches, register players, record scoring, and generate seed numbers.
RULES:
Each player will be allowed 2 weeks of throwing with our house axes. By week 3 each player MUST have their own personal axe. All other league rules can be found by heading to the WATL website at www.WorldAxeThrowingLeague.com or clicking the WATL icon on our site.
WHO CAN JOIN:
Short answer, anyone. From pros, to rookies, from Kids to adults. Axe throwing is an all ages, all skill levels sport. The youngest a member can be is 10 years old. Keep in mind that youth members must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian also competing in league.
WHEN:
League night is held each and every Wednesday night from 7pm-9pm. In an event where the Wednesday falls on a holiday, league members will vote on a make-up day.
HOW MUCH:
New players are $150 ($18.75 per week) and returning players are $100 ($12.50 per week).
WHAT DO I GET:
Each member will be given priority booking to come in and practice at a 25% discount throughout the season. Each member will also receive discounts on merchandise, free blade sharpening, as well as free consultation which axe is the best fit for you!
WHAT IF I WIN:
Winners will automatically be sponsored for the next League totally for free. You will also receive a $50 Visa Gift Card, A League Champion Custom Shirt, as well as a picture on our Hard Axe Hall Of Fame!
